“Havat Gilad†Gangsters sabotage tens of olive trees – Tell town / Nablus governorate
Violation: Sabotaging olive trees and stealing the crops.
Location: Tell town/ Nablus governorate.

Perpetrator: “ Havat Gilad” gangsters.
Victim(s): Number of farmers in the town.
Description:
In the morning hours of Sunday, gangsters from Hafat Gilad raided Khallet Ad-Doughi and Al Khanadeq areas and used sharp tools to sabotage 50 olive trees (aging 40 years), and 50 olive saplings (aging 3 years).
Noteworthy, the targeted plots are in C area.
Affected farmer Mohammad Asida from Tall town told LRC observer:
“In October 14, while I was harvesting olives with my family, 3 settlers showed up, one of them Said “Do not come to this land, and do not harvest olives, we will not let you come to this land because it is ours” , We continued the harvesting , this is our land and no stranger will take it away from us.
Sunday morning, after getting a permission from the occupation to harvest olives for 3 days, I headed to the land with my family and I was shocked to see that settlers sabotaged my trees and robed olive crops and tools used in harvesting, I called the Palestinian coordination office and Nablus governor office, my financial lost from the robbing and sabotaging reached 5500 $.

Havat Gilad (Gilad Zoher) in lines:
The colonists are the grandchildren of Zohar, one of the biggest colonists in the West Bank. They collaborate with Kiryat Arab' colonists to form gangs that attack farmers. 5 years ago, a number of colonists under the protection of the Israeli occupation army raped vast areas of (Tell, Sera, Far'ata, Amatin) villages to build an outpost that soon expanded to be Golad Zohar farm. And along with its foundation, the suffering of people nearby began.
It is worth mentioning that during the past few years, more than 30 attack cases by Gilad Zohar colonists were recorded. Many complaints are filed against the colony but to no avail.
