Israeli violations in the time of Corona Wave of arrests and raids in Jerusalem
New wave of arrests and raids was carried out in occupied Jerusalem , the wave targets activists and volunteers who organize activities to combat the spread of the corona virus in Arab neighborhoods in Jerusalem, while the Israeli authorities clearly neglects east Jerusalem.
Tuesday, April 14th 2020, the Israeli occupation police and intelligence raided a medical center in Silwan , the center was opened by volunteers to take corona tests for people of the neglected village , which have been reporting high numbers of infections.
The occupation police called citizens Fawzi Sha’ban and Shadi Sumrin for interrogation following their activities for combating the corona virus , represented in coordination with the Palestinian Ministry of Health to open a medical center for Corona tests.
On the other hand, the occupation raided Christine Al-Renawi house in Beit Hanina , and gave her a summon. The Occupation authorities claimed that Christine breached an earlier Minister of Interior order , that bans Palestine TV activities in occupied Jerusalem .
The Occupation carried out these measurements against the city and its people , in an attempt to impose control and prohibit any financial or other kind of support from the Palestinian authorities or Palestinian NGOs to people of Jerusalem , or even forming volunteers committees.
