Citizen Mahmoud Al-Ka’abneh told LRC:

“We are six Bedouin families living in Al-Morouj area for the last two months, and during winter we stay at Al-Auja, our houses are built of basic materials, and we change the location of our tents every season to be close to postures and water.

Early this may 2021 the occupation raided the area and took pictures of our residences, and we were not given any halt of work or eviction notices at the location.”

Reportedly, the Israeli Civil Administration raided Al-M’uarajat area and gave halt of work notices for 12 Bedouin Families. Click here to read the report.

With a surface area of hundreds of dunums, the occupation is intensively targeting Al-M’uarejat area. The Occupation also prohibits land access and use for Palestinian, under claims that the lands are registered as governmental properties in the Israeli Occupation’s records. However, Israeli illegals colonists on the other hand are allowed to exploit Palestinian lands as they like with facilitations from the Israeli Government.
