The Israeli Occupation Suppresses Citizens and Supporters in Shaikh Jarrah / Occupied Jerusalem

After the increasing number of supporters in Shaikh Jarrah neighborhood, Israeli police members and special forces are in large numbers patrolling at the area, in order to assault increasing numbers of protestors, as the Shaikh Jarrah neighborhood became a primary cause for Jerusalemites and Palestinians.

Israeli Forces on the other hand, increases oppression against Protestors and activists, and started mass arrests campaigns, they also collectively assaults protestors through sonic bombs, waste water, and demonstrations bans.

Protestors organized an event of a Joint meal at the neighborhood during the holy month of Ramadan, during and after the event the occupation forces attacked participants.

It is also noteworthy to mention that, The Israeli police use brutality and Savagery against detainees during interrogations.

About Ash-Shaikh Jarrah:[1]

2 km north the walls of the old Jerusalem city , Ash-Shaikh Jarrah neighborhood currently contains 70 families , origin back to 28 Palestinian families forcedly displaced from their cities and villages During the 1948 war. Today, the 28 families became 550 people living in 28 buildings (divided into 63 small residential units).
