Perpetrators: The construction Inspector at the Israeli Civil Administration.

Victims: two people from Fuqha family.

Description:

Friday, April 2nd 2021, The Israeli Occupation forces accompanied by the building inspector at the Israeli Civil Administration raided Kardala village east Tubas and targeted an Agricultural Shack built more than 40 years ago with halt of work notice on the pretext of modifications without a license. The Targeted structure is used as a store for vegetables and has a total area of 200 m2.

The Occupation targeted a house in the foundations phase west the village.

According to the military order, the occupation set May 5th 2021 as the date of the building and organization session in Beit El military court to decide the fate of the structure.

Mohammed Faqha (40 years) told LRC the following:

“The targeted Shack is one of the oldest facilities at the village, early this year we sat up air conditioners inside the sealed off caravan and turned it into a storage for vegetables. But the Israeli Occupation is trying to erase Palestinian existence at the Jordan Valley.”

22 km north Tubas city , Kardala village is surrounded by Bardala (north) , Tubas (west), Ein Al-Bayda (east) , and Tubas city (south).

Kardala has a total population of 145 , until 2017 census.

Kardala has a total area of 2,210 dunums , of which 22 dunums are a built up area , while all the village’s lands are classified C according to Oslo accords.

Bypass 90 devoured about 127 dunums.
