Victims: Two families from the village.

Description:

Tuesday, November 2nd 2021, the building inspector at the Israeli civil Administration accompanied by an army force raided “Hai Az-Zera’a” south Dura Al-Qare’a village, and targeted two stores on the main road.

The Occupation served two halt of work military notices on the pretext of building without a license, and sat November 17th 2021, as the date of the building and organization session in Beit El military court, to decide the fate of the structure.

Anwar Al-Qadi told LRC:

“Two years ago, I bought a plot on the main road and sat up a shack that I used to sell vehicles parts. despite that the area is full of shops, I was shocked of receiving a military noticw, so I prepared a legal file to object.”

Hai Az-Zera’a in Dura Al-Qare’a is one of the largest neighborhoods south the village , nearby confiscated lands where “Beit El” illegal colony was constructed. Reported recently, residents of this neighborhood received a number of halt of work military orders, the occupation is prohibiting construction and infrastructural development at the village.

About Dura Al-Qare’a village:

6 km to the north east Ramallah city, Dura Al-Qare’a is surrounded by a number of Palestinian communities , including Jifna and ‘Ein Yabroud villages. According to statistics conducted in 2009 , Dura Al-Qare’a has a population of 4000 people, people of the village originate to families of Hamdan , Qassim, and Hassan. The village has a built up area of 4800 dunums, of which 1800 dunums were confiscated for the construction of the illegal colony “Beit El”, about 1100 dunums planted with olives and almonds , and 1200 dunums allocated for construction and infrastructure.

The village is under threats to be devoured by non-stop colonial expansion, noting that Beit El colony already devoured vast areas of Dura Al-Qare’a village.
