Description:

November 11th 2021 , The Israeli Occupation Authorities raided ‘Atouf village east Tubas , and served halt of work notice on an agricultural structure south Jenin village, on the pretext of building without a license.

According to military order number (31281) , the occupation sat November 24th 2021 , as the date of the building and organization session in Beit El military court to decide the fate of the structures.

The targeted reservoir is currently used by the affected farmer, who owns a farm with a total area of 40 dunums planted with oregano in Al-Buqa’ia. mily.

During the past few months, the occupation forces intensified raids and assaults in Palestinian communities at Al-Buqa’ia , especially Khirbet Yarza, Khirbet Makhoul and Khirbet ‘Atouf . Nevertheless, the Israeli Occupation forces carried out trainings in Al-Buqai’a that resulted in destroying and sabotaging tens of agricultural dunums at the northern Jordan Valley.

Al-Buqaia plain has a total area of 98,800 dunums, of which 25,000 dunums were categorized as (A and B) in Oslo accords, and the rest of the land were classified C, the area is heavily targeted by colonial activities, and the Occupation built Beqo’ut colony and military camps that ate up a large part of it.

Most of Arable lands in Al-Buqa’ia plain are not exploited properly due to occupation’s arbitrary policies that target Palestinian farmers. Even water; the most important component of the agricultural process, is fully controlled by the occupation.
