Citizen Yassir Abu Al-Kbash (49) pointed out: “Early this summer due to the ongoing demolition process and confiscation of our properties ( residential and agricultural tents) , we decided to leave to Humsa Al-Fouqa , despite the fact that my son Sanad and I have been living in the area all our lives.”

During the past years, basic structures of the Khirbet were demolished several times, and in summer 2016 the Occupation’s so called building inspector served several halt of work orders on the pretext of building without a license, despite preparing the legal file and proving ownership of the land, the occupation refused the application. In 2018, the Tubas Governorate office conducted spatial planning for 60 dunums to be approved as a location for the community, the application was filed to specialized department in Beit El military court , and in may 2020 the occupation refused  the application on the pretext that this is not a construction area . Noteworthy, only 150 m away, the occupation built illegal colony “ Ro’e” which receives a large support from the Israeli Occupation government and expands on Palestinian lands.
