It is noteworthy that the target barns were installed last November, and they belong to the farmer Saleh Suleiman Abu Alia, one of the owners of the lands in Khirbet Jab'it who resides during the winter period in the Jab'it area and during the summer period moves to reside in the village of Al-Mughayer as he totally depends on animal husbandry as main income. The land he is using in Khirbet Jab'it  is owned by his family according to official Tabu papers.

The total area of the target barns is 180 m2 which are used to raise 65 heads of livestock. The affected farmer supports a family of 8 members (5 males and 3 females), and among the family members there are 3 children.

The target area of Jab'it is located to the east of the village of Al-Mughayer in the Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorate where the residents depend for their livelihood on agriculture and livestock. The community's 56 residents are from the village of Al-Mughayyir, specifically from the Abu Alia family. Since the evacuation of the Jab'it military camp about three years ago, the colonists have begun to seize the camp’s land to establish a colonial outpost there. From that time until now, the colonists have carried out attacks against sheep herders and farmers in order to force them to abandon their agricultural activities with the aim of seizing the entire lands  in that area for future illegal Israeli settlement expansion.

with reference to The aggrieved party relies on agriculture and sheep farming for his main and only source of income, noting that the land he uses in Khirbet Jabet is owned by his family according to official Tapu papers.
