Violation: Eviction notices for 32 dunums and uprooting 120 olive trees.
Location: Al-Quboon area east Al-Mughayyir village / Ramallah and Al-Bireh.
Date: May 22nd 2022.
Perpetrator: The building inspector at the Israeli Civil Administration.
Victims: A number of agricultural families.
Description:
Al-Qabboun area east Al-Mughayyir is heavily targeted by the Israeli Occupation which makes efforts with the aim to empty the area for random outposts.
Sunday May 22nd 2022, The building inspector at the Israeli Civil Administration and an army force raided Qubbon area, and put military orders attached with illustrative maps that order the eviction of several agricultural lands distributed in five locations in natural block 4 , with a total area of 32 dunums. The notices came on the pretext of assaulting governmental properties , the forces gave the owner (72 hours to evict the plots) , while giving other 42 to evict the rest of the lands.
The targeted lands were planted two years ago , a part of them were surrounded with a siege.

Farmer Kazim Haj Mohammed told LRC:
“We farmers own plots in Qaboun area , part of it have been planted for more than ten years , and the rest of it were replanted two years ago , there are other parts that are currently used as postures , and Qaboun area with its special geography was a target for Israeli colonists who built this outpost three years ago , in addition to daily assaults carried out by the Israeli occupation forces, which made this area very dangerous.
Wednesday morning June 15th 2022, when I went to my plot I was shocked with eviction military order on the pretext that the area is a state property, the notices were dated a month ago . Noting that this is our land , and we have legal papers to prove that , and we will fight for it until the last breath.”

A part of the targeted lands
Cutting 120 olive saplings:
Wednesday morning June 15th 2022, a massive army force accompanied by an Israeli bulldozer raided “Al-Qubon” area targeted a plot belongs to farmer Ghazi An-Na’asan , who received an eviction notice previously on the pretext that it is a state property, the occupation uprooted 120 olive saplings aging 6 years old from the farmer’s land , which was planted two years ago on 50 dunums , the occupation claims that the land is a governmental property , the forces also confiscated the plants to a nearby camp.
The affected citizen pointed out : “Two years ago I planted my farmland that I inherited from my fathers , the occupation is now imposing closure on it on the pretext of protecting colonists’ security , but I was shocked of the notices.”
Al-Qubbon area is known for its special nature, but unfortunately it is located next to the colonial road Alon , visiting Qabbun is still dangerous due to colonists continuous assaults , noting that the occupation already demolished and displaced a number of Bedouins at the location during the past two years.
