Violation: Uprooting olive trees.

Date: October 31^st 2022.

Location: Wad Sa’ir- Sa’ir town / Hebron governorate.

Perpetrator: The Israeli Occupation army.

Victims: Citizen Isame’il Shalada.

Description:            

Monday , October 31^st 2022 , the Israeli Occupation Forces carried on uprooting olive trees from land of citizen Isma’il Ash-Shalalda in Wadi Sa’ir in Hebrn governorate.

Citizen Murad Shalalda tole LRC the following:

“The Occupation Forces brought a bulldozer to our land in a street near Wad Sa’ir , where then occupation installed a large tower , and uprooted trees from it, the forces uprooted the trees (age:30) out from their roots.”    .

 Uprooting trees from lands belong to citizen Shalalda

Shalalda pointed out that the occupation forces threatened them to uproot the trees before the olive harvest, Shalalda family tried to negotiate with them to wait after the harvest, but the occupation forces forced them to harvest the crops early (before its time) , then uprooted the trees.

In August 8^th 2022, the occupation forces issued military order no (T/9/22) entitled “Confiscation of lands” , attached by a map that shows the lands to be confiscated under security claims , starting from signing date , until 2025.

In August 29^th 2022 , the occupation forces also ravaged a plot belongs to Shalalda and uprooted (23 olive trees) , and came back to uproot other (11) trees.
