The Civil administration notifies an agricultural facility in Burqa/ Nablus

Description:

Wednesday, 3 of July 2019 , The occupation forces raided Al-Maso’udiya area in Barqa village , and put a halt of work notice onKhalid Saif  , on the pretext of building without licenses in C area.

Khalid Saif told LRC reporter:

“An Army force accompanied by a vehicle related to the civil administration raided the area and put a halt of work notice on an agricultural structures that I own .

The targeted structure I use as a resting and sleeping room during working in my farm.  Once I found the military order I informed the legal aid unit in the joint services council in Nablus , which guided me to prepare a legal file and file an objection as quickly as possible.”

Noteworthy, Khalid Saif built (69m2) residence of bricks , in order to use as a resting place and a store for agricultural tools , the farm provides a sub side source of income for Khalid and his family of 8.

About Burqa:[1]

12 km north Nablus city, Burqa is surrounded by the Israeli illegal colony “Homesh” (north), Ramin and Al-Masa’adeyeh villages (west) , Beit Amrin (east) and Sabastiya (south).

Burqa has a population of (4152) people in 2017.

Burqa has a total space of 18174 dunums, 506 of them are the town’s built-up area.

The Israeli occupation confiscated (1047) dunums from Burqa’s lands to establish “Homesh” settlement in 1980, the Israeli government claim that “Homesh” is evicted but that is not the truth,the settlement is inhabited by radical settlers who implemented several attacks against villagers of Burqa.

Oslo conventions divided Burqa into:

A area: (4796) dunums.

B area: (5131) dunums.

C area : (8247) dunums.
