Description:
Monday 29/7/2019 , before noon , the Israeli occupation forces accompanied by a vehicle from the civil administration raided ‘Aqraba , and detained a “Daewoo” excavator, the excavator was taken to a nearby military camp.
‘Aqraba municipality head Ghalib Mayadma told LRC reporter:
“An army force reached the location and detained the excavator while it was rehabilitating the main street of the village , the village council head and municipality members tried to stop them , but the occupation forces arrested everyone who tried to hinder their way.
The municipality got an approval to rehabilitate the road in a meeting between Palestinian and Israeli liaison offices , but after four months the occupation forces raided the area and detained the excavator.”
The municipality head believes that the current political situation is being reflected on their policies in prohibiting any Palestinian developmental projects or constructions in C area.
Noteworthy , the main street in Aqraba village was used for tens of years, and needs rehabilitation and expansion , which the occupation refuses.
