Violation: Israel to construct a new outpost.
Location: Tell village lands/ west Nablus city.

Perpetrators: Settlers of Havat Gilad.
Victims: Palestinians in Northern and western suburbs of Nablus.
Description:
A group of radical settlers started constructing a new outpost on Tell village lands, on a location known of “Al-Hariqa” located 200 m from “Havat Gilad”.
Noteworthy, LRC field observation team reported the construction of the new outpost in December 2019 . reportedly, settlers set up 6 agricultural tents , 4 barracks and a barn at the location, the outpost is devouring 5 dunums, the Israeli occupation considers the lands under the outpost as “an Israeli state property”, while they opened a road that links the outpost to bypass 60.
Constructing a new outpost only 200 m from Havat Gilad reflects the occupation’s intention of expanding colonization to eat up vast area of Fara’ata , Amatin and Tell villages – east Qalqilya , through annexing the outpost to Havat Gilad and annexing all the lands in between, then creating a large settlement cluster after confiscating vast areas of lands from Palestinian farmers.
‘Adnan At-Taweel from Fara’ata told LRC the following:
“During olive harvesting season , settlers of the new outpost carried on several attacks against farmers of the surrounding olive groves, among them was stealing the crop or sabotaging the trees, ‘Adnan said that several complaints were filed to the Israeli occupation , but no measurements were taken to protect Palestinian farmers from settlers assaults and attacks , only one day before that , settlers of the new outpost set two (Palestinian) cars on fire then ran away, which reflects the radical mentality that they have.”

Havat Gilad (Gilad Zoher) in lines:
The colonists are the grandchildren of Zohar, one of the biggest colonists in the West Bank. They collaborate with Kiryat Arab' colonists to form gangs that attack farmers. 5 years ago, a number of colonists under the protection of the Israeli occupation army raped vast areas of (Tell, Sera, Far'ata, Amatin) villages to build an outpost that soon expanded to be Golad Zohar farm. And along with its foundation, the suffering of people nearby began.
It is worth mentioning that during the past few years, more than 30 attack cases by Gilad Zohar colonists were recorded. Many complaints are filed against the colony but to no avail.

3 kilometers south Nablus, At-Tell is surrounded by Sura and Nablus city (north), Fara’ata , Jit and Imatin (west), Burin and Nablus city (east) , Assira Al-Qibaliya, Zita, Jamaen and Madma (south).
At-Tell has a population of (5,162) people in 2017 census.
Bypass 60 devoured 380 dunums.
Oslo convention classified the land into:
- A area (6,886) dunums.
- B area (6,683) dunums.
- C area (3,119) dunums.
At-Tell consists of 4 main clans: Asida, Hamed , Ramadan and Shteyeh.
