Violation: Israeli halts work on a Palestinian house.

Victims: Citizen Ahmad Salawda.

Description:

Wednesday, June 28th 2017, about 12:00 pm, a massive army force accompanied by the building and organization officer raided Duma village south Nablus, and gave Citizen Ahmad Salawda a halt of work notice on his house in Ras Al-Aqa’a west the village.

Ahmad Salawda (34) told LRC:

“Two Israeli vehicles got to my house, and gave me a halt of work notice on my house; the house is located in C area, and built on a 3 dunums plot.

Once I received the notice I went to the village council to prepare a legal file, and submitted a petition with the help of Jerusalem Legal Aid and Human Rights Center.”

Duma is a Palestinian village in Nablus Governorate, located southeast of Nablus City. It is bordered by Al Jiftlik and Fasayil (in Jericho Governorate) to the east, Majdal Bani Fadil to the north, Qusra and Jalud to the west, and Al Mughayyir (in Ramallah Governorate) to the south.
