Violation: Israeli Military Order targets 685 of Al-'Ubeidiya lands.

Friday, March 5^th 2021, the Israeli Civil Administration issued a notice for "Confiscation and taking the right of disposal" in order to establish a water harvesting project in Kidron Valley Number H/1/21 , which will devour a plot with a total area of 658,345 dunums of Al-'Ubaidiya lands at locations such as Kareen Al-Hemam , Jaleen and Sanam Al-Buqa'a , in order to establish a water harvesting projects for Israeli illegal colonies in the Jordan Valley and the dead sea area.

The Order states that whoever find themselves affected by the confiscation may object within (60) days after the issuance date, noting that these are only formal requirements, that are never considered on the ground.

Noteworthy, the notice was first issued in April 6^th 2019, under the title "setup a sewage water line – Kidron / Mar Saba Section – Horkania number 1/4/2019", the notice came to change the current sewer line in Wad El-Nar for sewer water treatment , in order to use treated water in irrigation later .

The targeted lands are in natural block 6, which are pastoral lands belong to people of Al-'Ubaidiya (the owners hold legal papers to prove their right to the land).

The targeted land is somehow far from Al-'Ubaidiya residential area, and due to the Occupation's Arbitrary measurements the area has been closed for a while, and the owners were not allowed to use it.

In Reality , the Occupation seizes Palestinian natural resources to achieve colonialist goals, which is a violation of international conventions and agreements that prohibits depriving indigenous people from their natural resources , but the Israeli government however ignores all international conventions and agreements.
