Thursday, April 30 , 2020 , the Israeli Occupation civil administration raided Wad Al-Bayar in Al-Khader and gave citizen Eid Salah a halt of work order on his facility, which is a kiosk that composes of woods , metal columns and a water reservoir.
Iyad Issa from Al-Khader told LRC:
“The Owner built these Kiosks of woods and metal columns and some fabric to rest under after working in his vine yard”.
The military order was numbered 30412 and said that the subcommittee will discuss the fate of the structure in their session in May 20th 2020.
the agricultural room
Noteworthy, the vineyard is close to “Efrat” settlement , the occupation claims that the Kiosks threat security of the settlement , but the real intention is to prohibit Palestinians from construction to keep the area as a colonial reserve.
Al-Khader is a hotspot for Israeli human rights violations , the occupation is taking advantage of the corona lockdown and closure of most human rights institutions to carry out demolitions and intensify land grabs.
Many of Al-Khader people depend mainly on agriculture as a main source of income , and agriculture is counted as a keystone in economical development in the village. But unfortunately, the Israeli Occupation is in many ways constantly targeting the Palestinian agricultural sector.
