The occupation’s bulldozers demolished on May 04, 2017 commercial establishments under the pretext of building without a permit. The structures are reported owned by Abu Ryaleh family in the village of Isawiya
Mohammad Abu Hummos, member of follow-up committee in the village of Isawiya, said the occupation’s dozers demolished two commercial establishments under the pretext of building without a permit. He pointed out that the demolished establishments had an area of 120 m2.
It should be noted that the structures' location is, according to Israel Municipality in Jerusalem, designated for the so-called "National Park".
At time of demolition, Israeli Occupation Forces closed the area and banned movement while dozers brought down the two structures. The operation lasted for two hours before the force withdrew.
It is lately reported that Israel Municipality has been rabidly targeting Palestinian constructions in Isawiya village on the claim of building without permit. This step came as collective punishment and included night raids, break-ins and assaults on civilians. Not only, Israeli Occupation Forces set up many checkpoints in the village and randomly shot stun grenades and bullets at residents, leaving many injured.
