Impacts of Bulldozing Citizens' Land and Uprooting Trees The occupation authorities claim that these lands are classified as "State Lands," meaning they belong to the treasury of the occupying state, having been confiscated and stripped from their owners according to military laws and orders issued in the occupied West Bank, under which hundreds of thousands of dunams were seized from their rightful owners.

In June 2023, the occupation authorities issued evacuation notices for these lands, demanding that citizens uproot what had been planted and demolish any structures, restoring the land to its original state within 45 days of the notice date. Citizens submitted legal objections to these notices, yet the occupation authorities proceeded to bulldoze and destroy their lands.

It is worth noting that the occupation authorities have carried out land bulldozing and crop destruction operations in this area, most notably clearing large tracts of land seized for the bypass road (Colonial road No. 60), which runs alongside this area.
