Israeli Channel One said that the Minister of Internal Security in the occupation government is considering the possibility of establishing a new settlement in Ras Al Amoud neighborhood, south Al Aqsa Mosque. The channel explained that this requires the extension of a new road network linking the planned colonial neighborhood with other existing colonies

Reportedly, the Minister of Internal Security accompanied by officers of the Israeli occupation police conducted a tour in the area, including Baten Al-Hawa neighborhood, whose residents are threatened with eviction. Jewish families claim that it belongs to the Jews from Yemen who were living there some hundred years ago.

The local construction committee of the Jerusalem municipality has approved a plan to build 800 colonial units in Pisgat Ze'ev, Gilo, Ramot and Navi Yaccoub. This plan aims to increase the number of settlers in the occupied city.

At the end of the tour, the Minister of Internal Security informed the Israeli media that he would work hard to provide security for every Jewish family residing in the area, in order to guarantee the safety of its members and to affirm the right of settlers to live in Jerusalem.
