New Apartheid wall in Burin town / Nablus governorate

Violation: constructing a new apartheid wall.

Date: May 10 –2018.

Location: Burin/ Nablus governorate.

Perpetrator: Israeli occupation army.

Victim: Burin high school.

Description:

In March 10 , The Israeli occupation  implanted new apartheid wall (250m) in Buirn lands. The occupation had served confiscation of 751m2 of to Burin high school principle in march -08, the new apartheid wall was built over the confiscated lands and isolates Burin high school from the bypass road that connects many settlements in Nablus like Yizhar, Kedumim, Alon Moreh and Etmar.

About Burin:[1]

It is located 8km to the south of Nablus city and is of 10,416 dunums in area, of which 335 dunums are the village’s built-up area. Burin has a total population of 3500 people. Two Israeli colonies are founded on the lands of Burin which are:

Bracha: it confiscated 205 dunums from Burin’s lands

Yizhar: it confiscated 150 dunums from Burin’s lands
