Violation: Halt of work order.

Description:
24 July 2019 , the Israeli occupation authorities served a halt of work order on the pretext of building without licenses in Beit Dajan / Nablus. Affected citizen said that a vehicle related to the building and organization in the civil administration accompanied by two army machineries raided the location of “’Ardat Az-Zawiya” and the inspection officer wrote the military order and put it in the location and took pictures before withdrawing.
In the military order 267068 , the occupation authorities requested the immediate stoppage of works , on the pretext of building in C area without licenses.
Owner Samer Thabit (58) told LRC reporter:
“I received a notice in hand from the building and organization officer Wednesday 24 July, I informed Milad office in the village council who also told me to prepare the ownership deeds. Then, I prepared the legal file and the case is now managed by lawyer Naser Dwaikat from Nablus.”
The targeted house was supposed to be a home for a family of 6, and consists of the following:

Beit Dajan is located 12 km to the east of Nablus and it is administratively related to it. The town is 500 m above sea level; its total area is 44100 dunums including 360 dunums of built up area ,in addition to 12500 dunums that are related to al-Ghoor area. Beit Dajan is surrounded by a number of villages namely (Salem, Deir al-Hatab, Talluza, Beit Furik, Ghoor el-Far'a ). Beit Dajan is linked to Nablus with a local road 6.5 km, the town depends on grains plantation and fruitful trees such like olive, figs and almond.
Beit Dajan has a total population of 4460 people according to 2017 census.
Part of Beit Dajan lands were confiscated for “Al-Humra” agricultural settlement in 1971, the settlement has a built up area of 123 dunums according to 2014 census , while the settlement’s control area is about 3855 dunums and inhabited by 126 settlers (2013).
