Violation: Halt of Work notices.
Location: Al-Mughayyir village / Ramallah governorate.
Date: August 10th 2020.
Perpetrators: The Israeli Occupation Civil Administration.
Victims: 6 families from the village.
Description:
August 10th 2020 , the inspection officer in the Civil Administration raided Al-Mughayyir village northeast Ramallah , and gave halt of work notices for six families on the pretext of building without licenses.
The Occupation authorities set September 8th 2020 , as the date of the building and organization committee session in Beit El military court to decide the fate of the structure.

Imad Abu Alya (41) told LRC:
“Two months ago , during wheat harvest , the occupation forces and settlers attacked us , one of the soldiers opened fire and I got shot three bullets one of them exploded in my leg, which caused me a great movement disability , I used to work as a farmer and support a family of 8 , 5 of them are children. our suffering is endless, the occupation now notifies my house, and after I put everything I had in constructing it.”
According to Al-Mughayyir village council, the occupation notified 16 residential and agricultural facilities in the village , while it confiscated vast areas of the village lands , and deprived its owners from their right to access it.

Al Mughayyir is located 30 km to the north east of Ramallah; it is inhabited by around 3,249 people according to the PCBS statistics conducted in 2017.
Most of the village agricultural fields are located in its eastern parts; its total area is 33055 dunums, 501 of which are built-up area.
The Israeli occupation confiscated 37 dunums of Al Mughayyir lands for bypass #458.
According to Oslo Accords, about 95% of the village is under Area C while only 5% is under Area B.
