Violation: Halt of Work Notice for residential and agricultural structures.
Location: Al-Mu’arejat area east At-Tayiba / Ramallah governorate.
Date: February 28th 2022.
Perpetrators: The building inspector at the Israeli civil administration.
Victims: Khamees Mlihat , Muamar Mlihat.
Description:
Monday , February 28th 2022, The Israeli Occupation Forces accompanied by the building inspector raided Al-Mu’arajat area to the east of At-Tayba town in Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorate, and served demolition and removal notices to Bedouin families on the pretext of building without a license.
The Occupation gave the owners seven days to carry out the eviction.
The targeted families received halt of work notice between 2016-2017 , Israeli restrictions that accompanied license application measurements was enough to refuse license applications and dismantle the tents.
Noteworthy, Al-Mu’arejat Bedouin communities origins go back to Be’er As-Seba’ , where they were forcedly evicted in 1948 to head south Hebron, then a large part went to Jericho precisely at Al-M’;arejat and Mikhmas area.

Al – Mu’arejat for many years witnessed a vicious attack against Bedouin families at the area , in November 2020 , 17 families living at the Bedouin community were targeted , and during 2021 a mass demolition operation was conducted , and that resulted in displacing large numbers of people.
Al-Mu’arajat Bedouin community is inhabited by about 230 people , living a dangerous life with the least life possibilities.

15 km east Ramallah , At-Taybeh is surrounded by Deir Jarir (north) , Silwad (west) , Al-Mu’arejat (east) , and blocked by “Kokhav Hashaher” and “Rimonim” east on Rammun village lands.
At-Taybeh is inhabited by (1340) people , in 2017 census.
At-Taybeh has a total area of 22,969 dunums , of which 732 dunums are a built up area.
The occupation confiscated (1,738) dunums for the following purposes:
