Halt of Work Notices for Houses and Facilities in Shuqba village / Ramallah Governorate
Violation: Halt of Work Notice for two agricultural facilities and 6 residences.
Location: Shuqba village / Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorate.
Date: May 16th 2022.
Perpetrators: the building inspector at the Israeli civil administration.
Victims: 9 families from the village.
Description:
Thursday, May 12th 2022, the building inspector at the Israeli civil administration raided the southern part of Shuqba village, and targeted under construction agricultural facilities with halt of work notices on the pretext of building without a license in area C according to Oslo accords.
According to the notices, The Occupation sat June 5th 2022 as the date of the building and organization session in Beit El military court to decide the fate of the structure.

The Israeli Occupation already notified five houses at the same location a month ago, on the pretext of building without a license. Noteworthy, during the past years, Shuqba village was targeted by a large number of military orders, at least 45 notices were served during the past four years.
About Shuqba village:[1]
34 km north west Ramallah , Shuqba is bordered by Aboud (north) , Al-Qubaiba and the green line (west) , Deir Abu Masha’al (east) and Shabtin (south).
Shuqba has a total population of (5,459) people according to 2017 census.
The village has a total area of 13,495 dunums, of which 979 dunums are a built up area for Aj-Jalama.
The occupation confiscated 613 dunums for the following purposes:
1- Bypass 446 ate up (335) dunums.
2- The apartheid wall (2780 m) ate up (278) dunums , and isolated
(1390) dunums.
Oslo accords divided Shuqba lands as the following:
– B area: 1208 dunums.
– C area: 12,287 dunums.
