October 29 -2018, The Israeli occupation raided Al-Fhidat quarter, and carried on the dismantling and confiscation of a residential caravan belong to Saleh Al-Fhidat , on the pretext unlicensed construction.
Affected citizen Saleh Al-Fhidat told LRC observer:
“In September4 -2018, The Israeli occupation forces demolished my house on the pretext of building before getting a proper license, as a result my family and I became homeless (5 members, 3 of them are children) , then I received an aid from OCHA a residential caravan and a bathroom.
In the early hours of Monday morning, members from the Israeli forces raided the quarter, dismantled the caravan and rendered us homeless again.”ÙŠ.
Noteworthy, the occupation authorities issued 27 demolition orders on houses and barracks in Al-Fhidat quarter (57 dunums), even though the threatened buildings were built before Israeli occupied West Bank In 1967.

Al-Fhidat quarter / Anattah lies about tens of meters away from (Anatot) military camp (a location used for training soldiers). The Israeli occupation is aiming to take over the whole quarter in order to use it for the same purpose, the quarter is surrounded by an apartheid wall, and contains the least of life possibilities, families in the quarter get water and electricity from Anatah town, children suffer on their way to school as the closest school is 2 km away.
The occupation authorities consider demolishing Palestinian houses Low Enforcement. But in reality, When the occupation destroys a Palestinian house, they destroy their lives as well, The family’s house is their only home that provides them security and privacy. By this, the occupation violate all international laws, and a basic Human right, the right of an appropriate residence.
