Violation: serving demolition military orders targeting structures in Kisan village.
Location: Kisan village / Bethlehem governorate.

Victims: Hssain Ghazal (Radwan Ghazal , Ameen Ghazal, Nasir Al-Ebeyat.)
Description:
The Israeli occupation forces invaded Kisan village and served Halt of work and demolition orders to 3 houses and a barracks , on claims of building without licenses in C area.
Noteworthy, in 10/11/2014, the same structures received halt of work orders. At that time, the owners headed to a legal aid institution hoping to protect their properties, and legal files were prepared for defense in the Israeli courts.
Hssain Ghazal told LRC reporter: “I inherited the land from my father, and now I pass it to my sons, so they can provide proper homes for their families.”

Hssain Ghazal asserted: “In this village we are suffering from terrible economical conditions, we have been heavily targeted by the Israeli occupation assaults, we used to depend on cattle breading for living, but now after they took over all our postures, we have no source of income”

Located 18km south of Bethlehem, Kisan village is surrounded by Tuqu' (north), Sa'ir (west), the Dead Sea (east), Arab ar Rashayda/ Sa'ir/ Al Buweib (south). Kisan has a population of 560 people (2017 census). It has a total area of 133,278 dunums- 88,7 of which are built-up area. The Israeli occupation confiscated 2201 dunums of Kisan lands to build the following colonies:
According to Oslo Accords, 11% of Kisan is considered nature reserve while 40% is under Area B (PA is in charge of civil matters with Israel responsible for security). However, most of the village lands (49%) is under Area C (Israel maintains full security and administrative control). Here are the areas in dunums:
