Violation: Serving Halt of work orders.

Date: 26/3/2019.

Location: Majdal Bani Fadil village / Nablus governorate.

Perpetrator: The Israeli occupation civil administration.

Victims: Nazira Ottman.

Description:

The Israeli occupation authorities issued halt of work orders on 2 houses in 26^th march, on the pretext of building without licenses in Majdal Bani Fadil at Nablus governorate. One of the owners testifies that a vehicle from the civil administration accompanied by heavy machineries raided the area also known as At-Ta’amira , and pasted the military orders on the targeted houses and took pictures of them before withdrawing.

The military order imposes the immediate stoppage of constructions, on the pretext of building without licenses in C area.

Nazira Ottman (48 years) told LRC reporter:

“Once we found the military order, we informed the local council and started preparing the legal file , in order to file an objection to the Israeli court with the help of JLAC , which is our only hope to save our properties.”

The targeted structures are 2 adjacent houses north the village, about 300 meters from the closest house.

• The first house is under construction and consists of 3 floors , each one has an area of 115 m².
• The second house is also under construction and consists of 2 floors ,each one has an area of 115 m² .

Majdil Bani Fadil is located 25 km south east Nablus, bordered by Aqraba town (north), Qasra village (west), Aj-Jiftlik village (east) , and Doma village (south).

Majdil Bani Fadil has a population of (2907) people in 2017.

The village has an area of 6651 dunums , of which 287 dunums are the town’s built up area.

The occupation confiscated about 398 dunums for opening bypass 505.

Oslo conventions divided the land as the following:

• B area (1,209) dunums.
• C area (5,442) dunums.
