Violation: Halt of work notice.

Wednesday, March 4th 2020, The Israeli building and organization officer in Sartasa delivered a halt of work notice to Citizen Rabih Saif (41) targeting an agricultural facility with a total area of 16 m2 built of bricks walls and a zinc ceiling
The targeted facility (room)
The targeted agricultural facility is located north west the village in C area , only 300 m away from the village houses and built on an 11 dunums olive grove, the room was supposed to serve as a sleeping place for Rabeh Saif during harvesting seasons.
Rabeh went to the village council to submit a petition, with the legal aid of Jerusalem Legal Aid and Human Rights Center.
Noteworthy, Burqa village council participated in several workshops organized by Land Research Center under Supporting the Palestinian Land and Housing Rights project funded by the European Union and implemented by LRC.
About Burqa:
12 km north Nablus city, Burqa is surrounded by the Israeli illegal colony “Homesh” (north), Ramin and Al-Masa’adeyeh villages (west) , Beit Amrin (east) and Sabastiya (south).
Burqa has a population of (4152) people in 2017.
Burqa has a total space of 18174 dunums, 506 of them are the town’s built-up area.
The Israeli occupation confiscated (1047) dunums from Burqa’s lands to establish “Homesh” settlement in 1980, the Israeli government claim that “Homesh” is evicted but that is not the truth,the settlement is inhabited by radical settlers who implemented several attacks against villagers of Burqa.

B area: (5131) dunums.
C area : (8247) dunums
