For the Sixth time in a raw, In March 2021, The Occupation bulldozers demolished two apartments belong to Abu Ryala family members, Al-Isawiya.
Citizen Hatem told LRC the following:
“The Occupation municipality demolished two under construction apartments, each one has a total area of 100 m2, and were built above an old building, and I live at them with my family of (5 members, 2 of them are children).

Hatem asserted:
“I was shocked Sunday morning with a massive force accompanied by a bulldozer and getting ready to carry out the demolition. Noting that I was trying to complete the licensing procedures, and I was told that it is impossible that they will carry out the demolition during the licensing phase. However, The Occupation forces forced us to empty the two apartments and carries out the demolition.
This is not the first time the occupation demolishes my house, in fact this is the sixth. First time was in 1999, a second time was in 2001, a third time was in 2003, a fourth time was in 2009, the fifth time was in 2019, and today was the date of the sixth time, their excuse is that the building was built without a license.”
Citizen Hatem Abu Ryala was paralyzed during one of these demolition operations, and now he is on a wheelchair, and he was arrested recently by the occupation authorities.

7 kilometer north Jerusalem, Al'Isawiya is surrounded by Shu'fat and 'Anata (North), Jerusalem and Shu'fat (west), Al' Eizariya (east) , Jerusalem and Az Za'ayyem (north) .
Al'Isawiya has a total area of 9,419 of which 673 dunums are a built-up area of the village.
The Israeli occupation devoured 2305 dunums of the lands of the village, for the following purposes:

bypass number (1) and number (437) took over 641.5 dunums of the village lands.
The Apartheid Wall that damaged 44 dunums and is 443 long.
Occupation's military camps took over 600 dunums.
