Violation : Halt of work notices target two under construction houses.
Location: Kharabtha Al-Misbah village / Ramallah Governorate.
Date: February 2nd 2021.
Perpetrators: The building inspector at the Israeli Civil Administration.
Victims: citizen Saleh Harfoush , and Abed A’araj.
Description:
Tuesday morning, February 2nd 2021, The building inspector at the Israeli Civil Administration raided Kharabtha Misbah village west Ramallah, and served halt of work notices to two under construction houses.
The targeted houses are located in the eastern area of the village, nearby bypass 442. The targeted location witnesses daily harassments by Israeli troops and colonists , the occupation authorities nevertheless imposes restrictions on construction, and prohibit any kind of Palestinian physical expansion.
Reportedly, the construction of the targeted houses started in the summer of 2020 , and the families were hoping to finally live in appropriate and comfortable houses.
According to the military orders , the occupation sat February 17th 2021 , as the date of the building an organization session in Beit El military court , to decide the fate of the structures.

15 km southwest Ramallah , surrounded by Beit ‘Or Al-Fouqa (east), Beit Sira village (west), Beit ‘Or At-Tihta (north) , Beit Liqya village (south) , the village is 450 m above sea level , and Kharabtha Al-Misbah is only 2 km away from the green line.
Population: according to 2013 statistics, Kharabtha Al-Misbah has a population of 7000 people in four main families:
- Al-Habal family , forms (33%) of the village population.
- Daraj family, forms (25 %) of the village population.
- Harfoush family, forms (22 %) of the village population.
- Misleh family, forms (22 %) of the village population.
- In addition to 5 % of refugees living at the village since 1967.
