Civil Administration crews - Beit El, on the morning of February 17, 2022, raided the Al -Ehtram Street area in Wadi Al-Dam, Beit Hanina, and demolished a commercial facility for Mr. Ziyad Ibrahim Al-Qassas, as the city administration forces did not give Mr. Al-Qassas any time to work on emptying it, knowing that he submitted an application for a license through a lawyer, and confirmed that the application is under study, but the demolition process was carried out in violation of what was agreed upon.

After the owner of the workshop took all the necessary procedures to license the two-room container, and after he expected that the demolition would not take place, the forces raided the place, completely destroying the workshop, and causing severe damage to the place. In addition to the demolition of the container and its living facilities, the crews also destroyed and damage to large tanks for storing fuel, such as gasoline and diesel, knowing that the workshop is a place for trading in fuel. The occupying forces stole about 30,000 liters of oil, with a value of about 120,000 shekels, about 40 thousand dollars, in addition to the material losses incurred by the owner of the workshop and as sabotage 4 tanks and plowing of the floor, and the owner estimated his losses at about 400,000 shekels, or about 120,000 US dollars.

It is mentioned that the workshop, after the demolition process, has become in ruins. Mr. Ziyad Al-Qassas expressed the material effects and the commercial reputation of his workshop, which supports his family of 6 members, in addition to about 10 workers who support them and their families. On the one hand, he does not have a place after the demolition of his workshop, and it is difficult He has to store fuel for trade, in addition to this, the number of his customers has decreased, which has significant financial repercussions on a personal level.

It is noteworthy that Wadi Al-Dam is located northwest of the village of Beit Hanina, and it is one of the areas in which the occupation municipality and the Civil Administration are harassed by the restrictions on its residents and the merchants there, whether by demolition, deportation, or imposing violations and fines on a regular basis. In addition to this, the Wadi Al-Dam area suffers from major infrastructure problems, and overpopulation, which the occupation deliberately created there.
