Description:
Monday, February 28th 2022, The Israeli Occupation forces accompanied by the building inspector at the Israeli Civil Administration raided Marj Ghazal area north Jericho city, and targeted two houses with halt of work notices , on the pretext of building without a license.
According to the military notices, the occupation sat March 23rd 2022, as the date of the building and organization session in Beit El military court, to decide the fate of the structures.

During the long years of occupation, Marj Ghazal village is heavily targeted by the Israeli Occupation, which enacts policies that restrict construction at the village , and reduces population increase, and prohibit infrastructural construction.
Noteworthy, bypass 90 was a main reason that prevented population growth at the location, while Argaman colony confiscated more than 500 dunums, noteworthy, Marj Al-Ghazal area is 35 km north Jericho, and surrounded by Jordan River (east) , Aj-Jiftlik (West) , Zbidat (north) , and Aj-Jiftlik (south).
The village has a population of 240 people , from Jarar and Khamees families , the village has a population of 1917 dunums, of which 72 dunums are arable lands , and 83 dunums are construction areas.
