Violation: Cutting almond trees , destroying an agricultural room , and parts of a siege.

Perpetrators: Colonists of outposts on Turmus’ayya town lands.

Victims: Family of citizen Muntassir Abu Karsh.

Description:

Friday , October 7^th 2022 , a group of colonists raided “As-Safaha” area , east Khirbet Abu Falah north east Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorate, colonists took advantage of the calmness in the area , to carry out an attack that targeted a farm belongs to citizen Muntassir Abu Karsh from Turmus’ayya town, the attack left the following severe damages:

• Sabotaging a reservoir with a storage capacity of 1.5 m³ with sharp tools.
• Sabotaging a segment of a metal siege 4 m long.
• Sabotaging and destroying 9 almond trees aging Five years old.
• Destroying a residence that composes of two rooms with a total area of 90 m².
•  Sabotaging agricultural tools in the farm.

Another attack to this same farm was reported in June 17^th 2022, that also included the sabotage of 35 trees of grapes , citrus and cypress newly planted at the farm, and setting fire inside an agricultural residence built of bricks . The fanatic colonist also stole tools like an electric motor , and solar energy street lights.

The affected citizen Muntassir Abu Karsh  said: “This is the second attack reported at our farm,  the residence was completely destroyed and the trees were completely damaged , I do not have any money that may compensate for the loss , despite that I insist on staying on the land , no matter how much it costs.”

Khirbet Abu Falah:

The Khirbet Abu Falah is located to the northeast of Ramallah city, the village has a total population of 4200 , according to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics.

The village has a total area of 8345 dunums of which 750 dunums are under construction , the village lands are classifies as follows:

• Area B : 8219 dunums.
• Area C : 28 dunums
