Radical Knesset member Yehuda Glick took his social media profile, to express his vision or “hopes” for the future of Al-Aqsa mosque. Glick , who is an Israeli Orthodox Rabbi wrote a clear post attached by two pictures one of them is from 2009 and the other is from 2019, the first picture shows Palestinians trying to prohibit Israeli troops from entering the holy mosque, while the other picture in 2019 shows large number of settlers breaking into Al-Aqsa mosque. Glick is making a comparison to show how much of a “progress” they achieved on the ground in the last ten years, the pictures also provide number of settlers who participated in the break ins , which are (5658) in 2009 compared to (35695) in 2019.

The post was as the following:

“One of the most important struggles to me, that caused me my life too, was Imposing Israeli Sovereignty over Judea and Samaria , and above everything .. To take over the temple mount, it is the beating heart of Judaism  , and has a spiritual, national, religious  and political significance.

At the beginning we thought this was an illusion, at time the Islamic movement controlled the temple mount and considered it its castle. But after a decade, we doubled number of visitors and visits to the temple mount, and we created a revolution on speech and public awareness, it is impossible to have Orshalim without the temple town, neither de we can talk about Zion mount without Orshalim.  

I vow, to continue my struggle with all my strength in order to achieve our Zionist and national vision, on the land of our ancestors.. The land of the great Israel”

In the recent years, The Israeli radical settlers , rabbis and leaders of Zionist extremist parties  escalated waves of break ins and assaults on Al-Aqsa mosque, and tried to impose certain policies on Palestinian worshippers and workers in the holy mosque . The Israeli police also meddles the internal affairs of Al-Aqsa mosque, carry out several attacks against worshippers, and frequently arrest guards.
