Violation: Demolishing agriculture facilities on the pretext of building without a license.
Location: Deir Dibwan town / Northeast Ramallah.
Date: November 9th 2020.
Perpetrator: The construction inspector in the Israeli Civil Administration.
Victims: Family of citizen Nael ‘Awawdeh.
Description:
Monday, November 9th 2020, The Israeli Occupation forces accompanied by the construction inspector in the Israeli Civil Administration raided Khallet As-Sayad area north Deir Dibwan , 2 km away north the town , and a Volvo bulldozer carried out a massive demolition operation that targeted six tents and an agricultural shack belong to citizen Na’el ‘Awawdeh from Deir Dibwan , the Occupation claims that the facilities were built without a license.
Reportedly, the targeted facilities are:
Nael ‘Awawda (56) told LRC the following:
“I support a family of 14, 5 of them are children, and I depend on cattle breeding as a source of income. I live in Khallet As-Sayad area only in winter and spring seasons, only that recently I was shocked of the occupation forces leveling my structures to the ground without any preceding orders, my loss reached about 70,000 shekels.”.

Halt of work notice for an agricultural shack:
The Occupation also notified a shack (24 m2) , that belong to Yousif ‘Awawda who supports a family of 8 , 6 of them are children. The first notice was entitled halt of work notice numbered (30818) in September 23rd 2020 , while the second notice was entitled final demolition order and numbered (61339) issued in October 20th 2020 , The targeted shack is only 50 m to the east of the targeted facilities.

5 kilometer east Ramallah, Ramallah is surrounded by Ramon and Ein Yabrud (north), Beitin (west), Al-Nuwe’ma and Ein Dyuk Al-Fuqa (east) , Anatta, Mikhmas. Burqa from the south.
Deir Dibwan has a total population of 4169 people according to statistics conducted in 2017. It has a total area of 74,285 of which 1,789 dunums are a built-up area of the village.
