The affected families live at the area and many have rental contracts for their plots, which is classified as Tabo lands, most of the affected families depend on cattle breeding as a main source of income.

The Occupation claims that Khirbet Ar-Ras Al-Ahmar is a closed military zone, so they carry out demolitions within the Khirbet’s borders without any preceding notices. Ar-Ras Al-Ahmar is an example of many Bedouin communities around the Palestinian Jordan Valley area that became victims of Israeli schemes. The community is inhabited by more than 18 families descending from the nearby village of Tamun , precisely Bsharat and Bani ‘Odeh clans.
