Description:
Thursday, June 24th 2021, The Israeli occupation forces accompanied by the building inspector in the civil administration raided Ad-Deir village southeast ‘Ein Al-Bayda in Tubas Governorate, and gave citizen Fawzi Abu Mtawe’a a halt of work military order for his residence, on the pretext of building without a license.
The affected family composes of 6 members ,3 of them are children.
The residence is built of woods, plastic sheets, and steel sheets, with a total area of 24 m2, and a Zinc pergola (6 m2).
According to notice number (32716) the occupation sat July 12th 2021, as the date of the subcommittee session in Beit El military court to decide the fate of the structure.
Citizen Fawza Abu Mtawe’a told LRC the following:
“I’ve been living in Ad-Deir area for more than 20 years, and I breed cows to provide for my family , noting that the occupation is imposing tight restrictions on us. Two years ago, the occupation killed two cows using explosions in “Umm Al-Ushaish” bridge, they also demolished our tents in Ad-Dair and dispossessed my family.”.
