Another Similar case to Shaikh Jarrah neighborhood, The Occupation Authorities are trying to empty Batn Al-Hawa neighborhood for The Colonial Institution ‘Aterat Cohanim.

The threatened-of-eviction families along with Human Rights Activists protested in front of the Occupation municipality court in Saladin Street to reject the occupation’s decisions, and stand against the occupation forcible displacement policies.

Lawyer Mohammed Dahla said:

“The central court did not approve the objection, but decided to assign the petitions to Chancellor of Justice, and delay deciding the case until looking into other petitions already filed to the supreme court on this case.”

Noteworthy, the Occupation assaulted protestors, shot sonic bombs, and arrested a number of them, Then sat up roadblocks around the court to prohibit protestors from approaching the location.

This plan will affect 700 people (86 Palestinian families) that have been living in Batn Al-Hawa area for tens of years, this is an example of the support the Israeli Occupation Government provides to Ateret Cohanim Organization.

Batn Al-Hawa neighborhood is part of Mount of Olives , located to the south of Al-Aqsa Mosque and is going under a large displacement scheme.
