During the year 2020, the Al-Wad Al-Ahmar area witnessed repeated demolitions with the aim of emptying the area in favor of expanding the area of settlements there, noting that the number of families residing there are (12) Bedouin families, who have lived in the area for more than 25 years and depend on grazing and raising sheep for their only source of income.

Citizens reside there during the winter period in the Sahel Aqraba and Lafjom region, and in the summer they reside in the Al-Wad Al-Ahmar area north of Fasayel.

It should be noted that the Al-Wad Al-Ahmar area, along hundreds of dunams, is considered one of the important pastoral areas that the occupation turned into what is called government property. The settlement of "Yafit" and also a racetrack for cars serving the settlers was established on it, while the Bedouin citizens were left living in difficult conditions due to the harassment of the settlers. The occupation army that deprives them of their most basic human rights and is trying hard to get them out of the region as a whole.

It should also be noted that these notifications issued by the occupation come as a prelude to a final demolition order that will fellow it. Under the same pretext (non-licensing), noting that the occupation authorities do not grant a license to any Palestinian building in Area C, despite the citizens applying for this type of license.
