Effects of bulldozing the lands and trees.

The affected land belongs to farmer Mahmoud Muhammad Abdul Rahim Dawood, who supports a family of four adult members, including two females. It is noteworthy that the same farmer has previously had large areas of his land bulldozed to expand the "Revava" settlement. Additionally, there are at least five dunams owned by the same farmer located within the settlement perimeter, which he has been prevented from accessing for more than two years.

The "Revava" settlement was established in 1991 on the lands of Deir Istiya village in Salfit Governorate. The number of settlers reached 703, and the built-up area covered 436 dunams.

The "Revava" settlement, like other settlements in Salfit Governorate, contributes to the usurpation and theft of agricultural lands from the village. Moreover, it is a source of environmental pollution for the Palestinian lands by discharging liquid waste and sewage into the agricultural lands in the area, turning them from picturesque areas into health hazards due to these settlements. The occupation government and settlers do not adhere to international laws and norms regarding the disposal of solid and liquid waste, as evidenced by settlers dumping untreated solid waste and sewage into the valleys of Deir Istiya and neighboring villages and towns.
