Violation: Demolition agricultural barracks.
Location: Aqbat Jaber area, south Jericho, Jericho governorate.

Perpetrators: The so- called inspector of building of the Israeli civil administration.
Affected party: Three Bedouins families.

In February, Tuesday, 4th 2025, Aqabt Jaber raided by the inspector of building and several soldiers of Israeli occupation this land located south Jericho.
It’s worth mentioning the Israeli occupation began demolition works to Arab Abu Dahouk community live next to Aqabt Jaber camp, as they destroy 8 barracks used as stores and to livestock under the pretext of building and classified as state lands.

Mr. Suliman Abu Dahouk to the LRC researcher told as follows:
‘’We live in Aqabt Jaber area over past years and we rely on livestock and considered our only source of income, a few days ago, I received a notice to evict the area under the pretext of state lands although our existence over past 25 years, but we determine to remain. Afternoon Tuesday, we shocked that the occupation raided the area and demolish all what we own, they don’t leave to us anything included barracks, in addition to water tanks and poultry tent. Our loss is large, in particular the birth of the sheep in this period and there aren’t any bricks to us in the area”.
It's worth mentioning that Arab Abu Dahouk community near Aqabt Jaber camp, previously, the occupation demolished all the properties in 2018. Today, what remain to them from barracks and properties were demolished, noted the location that live in locate just a few meters away Al Fered Yareho located on Jericho lands.
The actions carried out by the Israeli occupation authorities in demolishing Palestinian homes and structures constitute violations of international and humanitarian law, as well as a breach of the right to adequate housing, a right guaranteed by international law and treaties.
