Violation: Establish a colonial road.

Location: Fatas- Adh Dhahiriya / Hebron governorate.

Date: April,1^st 2025.

Perpetrators: Settlers.

Affected party: The residents of Ad Dhahiriya town.

Details:

Tuesday morning, April,1^st 2025, citizens of Ad Dhahiriya town were shocked because of settlers ravaging their lands in Fatas area southwest the town.

 Settlers came with excavator (its color is yellow- civilian) and under the guard of occupation forces, as the ravaging works began, it is clear that this is a new colonial road in citizens’ lands.

According to field research team, settlers began to establishing this road near to annexation and expansion wall which surrounded Ashkalot settlement located in confiscated lands of Ad Dhahiriya and Dura towns residents.

It’s noted that a machinery of occupation came to lands in the area and 3 weeks from the beginning to establish this road, as 2 km were paved.

The owners of the lands try to access their lands to stopping the colonial attack, but the occupation soldiers preventing them from accessing.

According to lands’ owners, the occupation and settlers begin to establish a road in their lands without receiving previous notices by the occupation, if by confiscated these lands or announcement to establish this road.

 citizens fear of the establishment a colonial project in the area, they expect that this road will be a part of infrastructure to establish this project as preventing them from accessing their lands.

These lands belong to several families from Dhahiriya town including: (Alweridat. Rba’, Al Batat).
